News item Hartlepool Mail, 14/4/43: 'War Prisoner. Mrs E Fowler, of 17 Brougham Terrace, has received a postcard from her husband, Private Arthur Fowler, of the DLI, stating that he is a prisoner in Italian hands. He was reported missing last month.'
