'Photocopies of four letters/postcards (8pp ms) written to his family in 1944 by a British POW held in Stalag VIIIB, Lamsdorf, detached to Arbeitskommando E 715 at the IG Farben plant at Auschwitz-Monowitz, mostly personal in content but referring to his steel construction work and to an air raid in August 1944 during which "our shelter was hit, thirty-seven lads were killed" Also copies of a postcard showing members of E 715, a camp entertainment program, and a postwar newspaper cutting concerning the appearance of former British POWs as witnesses at the IG Farben trial at Nuremberg.'
